“Artists are like children, as they try to see the world around them with innocent eyes. They make fresh for us what is stale and depressing. An artist searches to understand the magic of the world- just as a baby tries to understand the magic of gravity by dropping a spoon on the floor. The artist shares his sense of magic through the art he gives us. A baby trying and learning gives us the same sense of wonder.” Song Nang Zhang . .
I am constantly humbled by children. While parenting can be the most frustrating and tearful time ever, there are moments that teach me to sit down, hush up, and be a better observer. Listen to these sweet kids and hear their wild and loving thoughts. I try to stop my adult brain from racing around trying to fix things or figure things out, and just breathe and learn from these sweet, little souls.
